Privacy policy

Privacy policy

I keep only what I need to do your work and answer you. I never sell your information. Effective October 17, 2026.

This policy covers foundryjr.com, which is run by John Roberts, doing business as Foundry, in Poland, Ohio.

What I collect

  • Free sample and intake forms: your name, business name, email, phone, website, towns, and anything else you type in. I use it to make your sample or do your work.
  • Payments: Stripe processes every payment. Your card details go to Stripe, and I never see your full card number. Stripe sends me your name, email, and what you bought. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Email and texts: what you send me, so I can answer you.
  • Google Business Profile access, for review plan customers: only what's needed to update your listing and reply to reviews.
  • Public business info: I look up local businesses' public websites and contact details, and I may send one short email offering a free sample. Reply "no," and I won't email you again.

Who I share it with

I only share your information with the services I use to run Foundry: Stripe for payments, FormSubmit for delivering form submissions to my inbox, Netlify for hosting this site, and my email provider. Joshua Hendrix, my co-founder, may see your information to help with your project. I also share information if the law requires it. I don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I don't share it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. My host may keep basic server logs for security. Stripe's checkout pages use their own cookies for payments and fraud prevention.

How long I keep it

I keep project and payment records for as long as you're a customer, and as long as tax rules require, usually up to 7 years. I delete sample requests that never turn into work after about 12 months.

Your choices

Email johnroberts@foundryjr.com to see, correct, or delete what I have about you, or to stop all email. I'll answer within 30 days. I may need to keep payment records the law requires.

Children and security

Foundry is for businesses and adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. This site uses HTTPS, and payments run on Stripe's secure checkout.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it here with a new effective date.
